OASIS Program Director
Office for the Promotion of Women in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics
Beth Tracy is the Program Director for the OASIS Leadership & Professional Development program. Beth joined the Rutgers’ SciWomen office in 2013 after consulting with the office on the development and management of the OASIS program since the program pilot in 2008. Prior to joining Rutgers as an employee, Beth had a consulting practice specializing in coaching, teamwork, and leadership. Her clients included individuals, academic institutions, and corporations.
Before starting her own consulting practice, Beth worked for Johnson & Johnson for 16 years. At J&J, she created global programs and -- using a train-the-trainer approach -- trained more than 4000 employees in 30 countries in the basics of professional development. As Director of Organizational Development, Beth also created a unique feedback and coaching program to provide access to coaching for a broad base of employees. This “Synergistic Impact Coaching” program has been viewed as a best practice within J&J for building internal capability at low-cost. Prior to her J&J career, Beth also worked in management at several small companies and as a consultant with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, developing and delivering training.
Beth received a Masters in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from Penn State University. She is a certified diversity facilitator and a certified coach.
