Health Science Research Symposium

Please join us and feel free to spread the word about the exciting afternoon of discussion, workshops, and networking at the 2013 Health Science Research Symposium this Friday, March 8th.

This event will feature an interactive panel discussion focusing on the theme of Mind, Body, and Soul and including such panelists as Assistant Professor of Social Work, Dr. Francis Barchi; Director of UMDNJ’s Institute for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ICAM), Dr. Virginia Cowen; Professor of Nutritional Sciences, Dr. Sue Shapses; and Professor II of Psychology, Dr. Tracey Shors.   Following the discussion, there will be a networking lunch, which will also featuring poster displays from graduate and undergraduate students.   After a chance to mingle and network during lunch, visitors will be able to choose to participate in either the Mood and Food workshop or The Myth and Stigma of Mental Health workshop.
